Create Stunning Resume in Just 5 Minutes with resume.io

Are you clueless when it comes to writing your resume? Here’s a platform you can use to create your resume in just 5 minutes (depending on how much you write, but 5 minutes is apt to have the core info of your resume done).

There are many resume creator application sites on the internet, but I find that the resume.io is one that you can appreciate due to its simple process and variety of options. It has a drag and drops feature where you can choose the sections you want easily.

What I love about resume.io:

• The drag and drop feature that makes you create the resume step-by-step. You won’t miss any important section as the list is easily available.
• The template is clean and easy to read. 
• There are a variety of templates to choose from. You can choose the template based on the profession, country, or job category. 
• It has a cover letter creator as well. 
• There is an integrated job search platform where you can directly apply to the vacancy with the resume you created (pretty much like Jobstreet). However, the jobs available are limited to the U.S. only at the moment. 

What I didn't not like about resume.io:

It is not entirely free. You need to pay for the service periodically which I think redundant because - how many times do you want to create your resume in a year? The free account allows you to create only 1 resume.

The free account allows you to download your resume in .txt format, which is not an ideal format for resume. You need to do post-processing and convert it into .pdf format if you want to send your resume out to employers. 

Because it is a drag-and-drop setup, you can't add any other section to the resume if you need to. You are pretty much stuck with the template that the provided. 

Pricing of the service:

Although I didn't agree to the paid service (because they are technically earning from the job posting as well), resume.io is still a convenient platform for you to create a beautiful and stunning resume effortlessly. What you can do is to utilize the free account to test out if it works for you. Then pay for the 7-day trial subscription and maximize the services during the week.
